w 聚合物領域：作為內增塑單體應用于樹脂合成，使樹脂改性，增加塑性和交聯性。在共聚單體中的比例應小于10%。與醋酸乙烯單體制得的共聚物光澤極好，成膜性優異，對被涂物有優良附著力和耐污染性，是乳膠漆理想的基礎材料。與乙烯共聚的共聚物，具有極優良的粘合性能，對基材有密封性，可用于粘合金屬與非金屬。與氯乙烯共聚后再脫去氯化氫，可制成尺寸穩定性好，耐熱性優良的微孔化合物，用于制作過濾咀香煙的煙頭。

w 非聚合物領域：在造紙工業中用于紙張處理劑。顏料工業用于制造固色劑。有機工業用于浸漬劑、分散劑、潤滑劑。還可用于彩色照相乳液，特種墨水的溶劑及化學分析用的試劑等。 

產品易燃，易儲存于通風場所，存儲地點應配備消防器材和合乎規定的電氣設備。產品對皮膚有刺激性，不要直接與皮膚接觸。

Brief Description: DOM is an organic solvent and an important comonomer.

Polymer field: used as an internal plasticizing monomer for resin synthesis, modifying the resin, increasing plasticity and crosslinkability. The proportion in the comonomer should be less than 10%. The copolymer prepared with the vinyl acetate monomer has excellent gloss, excellent film forming property, excellent adhesion to the coated object and stain resistance, and is an ideal base material for the latex paint. The copolymer copolymerized with ethylene has excellent adhesion properties, is sealed to the substrate, and can be used for bonding metals and non-metals. After copolymerization with vinyl chloride, hydrogen chloride is removed to obtain a microporous compound having good dimensional stability and excellent heat resistance, and is used for making cigarette butts for filter cigarettes.

w  Non-polymer field: Used in paper processing industry in the paper industry. The pigment industry is used to make fixing agents. The organic industry is used as an impregnant, dispersant, lubricant. It can also be used in color photographic emulsions, solvents for specialty inks, and reagents for chemical analysis.
